サウンド・アーティストevala氏が、メディア・アート分野で世界的に権威のある「アルス・エレクトロニカ賞2025」において、日本人初となる「冨田勲特別賞」を受賞されました。
今回の受賞は、evala氏のこれまでの創作活動全体に加え、NOIZが空間デザインを担当した、NTTインターコミュニケーション・センター［ICC］での個展「evala 現われる場 消滅する像」に出展された新作《ebb tide》が高く評価されたものです。
The sound artist evala has won the “Isao Tomita Special Prize” at the Prix Ars Electronica 2025, a globally prestigious award in the field of media art. This marks the first time a Japanese artist has received this honor.
The award recognizes evala’s entire body of work, as well as the new piece, “ebb tide,” exhibited at his solo show, “evala: Emerging Site / Disappearing Sight,” at the NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC]. NOIZ was responsible for the spatial design of this highly acclaimed work.
