台北市立美術館にて5月9日より開催される展覧会「共感：存在的節奏 / Entanglements: The Rhythm of Being」に、インタラクティブインスタレーション作品「Lazy House」を出展します。
「Entanglements（もつれ）」をテーマとする本展は、過去・現在・未来の時間の重なりや、人間と他の種・環境との関係性、技術によって拡張された感覚や空間認識を通して、
他ともつれ、相互に作用する共生のあり方を問いかける展覧会です。
「Lazy House」は、デジタル技術を用いたインタラクティブなインスタレーションで、テキスタイルに描かれた家具や建築要素が、来場者の動きに合わせて膨張と収縮を繰り返します。
人が近づくと急に膨らんで姿勢を正し、注意が向けられないと周囲の様子をうかがいながらゆっくりとしぼむ──人間的でどこか怠惰な振る舞いを見せるモノとのインタラクションによって、
本来静的な建築を「感覚を持つ有機体」として再構成します。
AIやセンシング技術の発展によって、ロボットだけでなくモノや建築、環境そのものがエージェントとして振る舞い始める未来が現実味を帯びつつあります。
「Lazy House」は、そうした建築や環境のエージェント化のプリミティブな萌芽を感覚的に体験させるインスタレーションです。
エージェント化で従来の人とモノの関係性が曖昧になり、人間の存在や機能が環境へと部分的に溶け出していく社会における、新たな主体性や共生のあり方を提示します。

NOIZ will present the interactive installation Lazy House at the exhibition “Entanglements: The Rhythm of Being”, opening on May 9 at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
The exhibition, themed around “Entanglement,” examines new modes of coexistence through overlapping temporalities of past, present, and future, relationships between humans, other species, and the environment, and technologically augmented perceptions of space and time.
Lazy House is an interactive installation that employs digital technologies. Furniture and architectural elements printed on textile surfaces repeatedly inflate and deflate in response to visitors’ movements. When a person approaches, the forms suddenly expand and “straighten” themselves; when attention fades, they slowly contract, as if cautiously observing their surroundings. Through this interaction with objects that exhibit human-like yet somewhat lazy behaviors, the work reimagines architecture—traditionally static—as a “sensory organism.”
With the rapid advancement of AI and sensing technologies, a future is emerging in which not only robots, but also objects, buildings, and environments themselves begin to act as agents.Lazy House offers a primitive yet tangible experience of this emerging condition, presenting the early signs of the agentification of architecture and environment.As such agentification blurs the conventional boundaries between humans and objects, the work proposes new forms of subjectivity and coexistence in a society where human presence and functions partially dissolve into the environment.
