Hermes Taiwan 2014 S/S Window Display

エルメスの今年度のテーマである「メタモーフォシス」（変態）に合わせて、noizは今シーズンのテーマを「モーフィング」(変形)に決めた。我々が安定していると信じているものは、実際には不確定なものである。量子レベルの不確定性原理を例にとると、真の意味で安定したものは何もなく、われわれが信じるものはある一瞬の認識に過ぎない。物事は場所ごと、瞬間ごとに変わる。事物は進化しつづける不確定性ゆえに美しいのかもしれない。このディスプレイ・デザインは、工房において名匠の発想と技によって素材が生まれ変わる夢のような状況をディスプレイ・ウィンドウに表現している。

In response to the Hermes’ annual theme “Metamorphosis”, noiz came up with the seasonal theme of “Morphing”. Objects that we believe to be stable are in fact uncertain. Taking cues from the Uncertainty Theory in quantum scale, nothing is truly stable – what we believe is merely momentary perception. Things change from scene to scene, moment to moment. Objects are beautiful perhaps due to their ever-evolving uncertainty. The display design attempts to depict a dream-like state where the master craftsmen’s ideas and materials in their workshop merge into each other the display windows
