TESSE, a unique tatami flooring called “TESSE,” generates partition patterns tailored to the shape of the space using proprietary technology based on algorithms. The distinctive patterns of TESSE are based on the geometric “Voronoi diagram” frequently found in nature. The “Tatami Generator β” algorithm incorporates material specifications, manufacturing methods, and the geometric rules of Voronoi diagrams to generate unique patterns each time for tatami production.
